High Tech Knitwear for the 21st Centry
Balmoral is continuing to upgrade almost every area of it knitwear.
- Our entire stock of Wool-Blend knitwear (50% Merino Wool 50% Acrylic) is changing to a Teflon-treated yarn. This has the added benefits of increasing the resistance pilling, as well as being virtually impermeable to stains and water.
- Our entire stock of 100% Acrylic knitwear will be changed to a TPA (Tumble-dry Premium Acrylic)
- Our entire stock of Pure New Lambswool knitwear will be easier to care for, with the addition of a tumble dry treatment on the yarn.
- Nanotech-treated yarns, which are practically impermeable to water, stains and odours, and therefore virtually self cleaning
- Anti-bacterial yarns for the healthcare professionals (for example nurses' cardigans)
- Anti-static yarns for the electrical industries
